Lecturer–Computer Information Systems/Information Technology

Salary: $50,000-$65,000

If so, SUNY Canton invites you to join our team as an Information Technology and Computer Information Systems Lecturer.

Position Overview:

As a Lecturer at SUNY Canton, you will have the unique opportunity to educate and inspire the next generation of IT professionals. You will be pivotal in equipping our students with the latest technology and industry insights, ensuring they are well-prepared for career success. Our expectations are for face-to-face classes with some opportunities for online instruction.

Qualifications:

Required:

· A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

· 3 to 5 years of industry experience in Information Technology or Computer Information Systems.

Preferred:

· A master’s degree in a relevant field.

· Past college-level teaching experience is preferred.

· Background in help desk service, proficiency in coding in multiple programming languages, and network administration skills are highly desirable.
