Facility Operations Assistant 1

SUNY Canton is seeking applicants for the position of Facility Operations Assistant 1 to work in our Athletics Complex. Candidate must have one year of experience in the operation of tractors, mowers, and other equipment. Candidates must possess a valid NYS Driver’s License Class D minimum. Incumbents of positions in this class also perform routine cleaning tasks as well as, repair and maintenance of roadways, grounds, landscape, and ice rink maintenance on a variety of different work shifts.

Facility Operations Assistant 1 performs routine equipment maintenance and other maintenance tasks and laboring duties, as necessary. Prior to final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background check.

Starting Salary: $35,177
