Literacy of Northern NY is hiring a P/T program assistant to teach in-person English as a Second language classes at Fort Drum, NY, three times a week on Tues. – Thurs.

Applicants do not have to speak another language.

The program assistant also:

• Completes intake paperwork for students and assesses them,
• Coordinates volunteer tutors, and
• Attends a staff meeting once a week.
• Must annually attend 14 hours of staff development in the Central NY region.
• Must have a vehicle.

This is an hourly job. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, 20 hours per week.

Minimum of an associate’s degree required.

Teaching or ESL background is required.
