Residence Hall Director
Salary: $50,000
The State University of New York (SUNY) College at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month position in the Residence Life Department beginning approximately January 2025.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, high level of creativity, and the desire to take on challenging work in a fun, diverse, engaging, and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work extensive hours in evenings and weekends as well as regular emergency contact/on-call duties.
- Required to live on campus (pets considered.)
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- A record of highly successful academic achievement and recent experience as a Resident Assistant.
Duties:
- Responsible for managing and supervising a 100-300+ bed residence hall.
- Community development.
- Coordination of student programming.
- Training/supervision of Resident Assistants.
- Conflict resolution.
- Other duties as assigned.
Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check, including but not limited to employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and a criminal background check.
