Full Description
The State University of New York (SUNY) College at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time, Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in the Social Sciences Department beginning August, 2025. Instruction of 100-400 level courses in the A.S. and B.B.A. degree programs on campus, online, and merged, 4/4 course load. Academic student advising, development of curriculum, course assessment, university service, scholarship endeavors, community and campus engagement, participation in recruitment and program marketing. Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D., Ed.D. or equivalent
- Experience in licensed childcare centers working with children infancy – age 5. Familiar with state Childcare Licensing Regulations. College teaching experience and knowledge of Online Learning Management Systems.
Relevant Master's degree also considered and meets requirements for Lecturer [non-tenure track] rank.
