City Manager
The City of Watertown’s Council-Manager form of government was recognized by the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) in 1920.
It is among the oldest ICMA-recognized plans in New York State.
The City of Watertown is currently accepting applications for the position of City Manager with an anticipated starting date of January 1, 2024.
The City seeks a seasoned leader of a comparable organization with extensive personal experience in finance, budgeting, labor relations, capital and operational planning, expenditure management, public facilities, and staff development.

The starting salary range for this position is $135,000 to $145,000, DOQ.
